The celestial event calendar for 2026 brings eclipses, shooting stars and rare alignments. Come join us at the CCC Hall or on Zoom this Saturday, December 6th as Sky Watcher and NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador John Williams provides the roadmap to bring the magic, excitement and meaning to what we can expect in the night skies. We’ll also share some of the incredible astrophotography from fellow Sky Watchers as well as the latest images from NASA’s missions.
Local Sky Watcher Leonard David will present an overview of significant space events that occurred in 2025, as well as detailing trends in global space projects slated to take place in 2026. One significant event for the New Year to watch for is America’s return to human exploration beyond Earth by a crew of Artemis lunar astronauts. Quite the ride!
