At the January 27, 2024 meeting of the Coal Creek Canyon SkyWatchers, astronomy enthusiast, John Williams will recap some of the most amazing astronomical findings of 2023 with some pretty pictures from Hubble and Webb Space Telescopes thrown in for good measure. He will also feature highlights of what’s coming up in astronomy in 2024 – and share some of his amazing astrophotography too. Local Sky Watcher Leonard David will also provide a brief international space missions update.
A lifelong astronomy buff, John is currently a senior web developer and content specialist with the National Solar Observatory in Boulder. He’s also a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador sharing the excitement of space exploration with just about anyone who will listen.
